Since relocating to NYC in the Spring of 2022, AnomalousCo has raised over $13,000 for refugee humanitarian aid in Ukraine and at our own southern border; collaborated via zoom with theatre artists in Kyiv; collectively engaged in local activism in support of #IranRevolution2022 and produced a video in support of the Iranian Women’s Uprising that went viral, with well over one million views to date; and established a thriving, ever-expanding artistic community of multi-lingual, multi-ethnic immigrant and refugee women theatremakers and their allies here in New York City. Your contribution will help us continue to grow in 2023, and take our theatre of conscience further out into the world, and our work deeper into the communities we strive to support.
