AnomalousCo news / APRIL 2026 / by Kathryn Syssoyeva

AnomalousCo is thrilled to share a season of major momentum and recognition!

Diana Zhdanova and Kathryn Mederos Syssoyeva have joined The Bechdel Project’s inaugural FIFE COHO (Feminism Is For Everyone) residency cohort for the first phase of development of a major new work this spring.

Kathryn Mederos Syssoyeva has received the Jean Dalrymple Award for Best Director in Feminist Drama for (beyond) Doomsday Scrolling (2025).

And we are excited to announce the launch of The Rise and the Fall: an incendiary feminist cabaret-songspiel hurling drag, post-punk theatre, circus spectacle, and multilingual performance against the machinery of late capitalism, climate collapse, and authoritarian decay.
